Paisley and Elizabeth’s room tour

Good Morning everyone!

It’s on to the Girl’s bedroom from my Style Me Pretty feature and behind the blog interview! In case you missed it, I did a post on the living room and kitchen features here and here, and you can find the Style Me Pretty feature here.

I think the girl’s room is my favourite room in the house, mainly because I rarely am content with a design just as it is. I always tweak or move stuff around, if not completely and entirely redo rooms in my house. I just love design and decorating so much that I have to keep trying new things, but this the first room I decorated and it’s the only room I have never changed, in exception to adding bunk beds but only because the girls out grew their adorable little toddler beds ( tear).

The polka dot wall decals were actually just white circle labels I found at Walmart ( but can be purchased pretty much anywhere). The lovely Jennifer over at Dearest Someday did a DIY wall feature using them and it made for the perfect jumping off point for this girly pink room. I chose to color mine black with a sharpie and they turned out great, cost next to nothing, and have pretty much stayed put minus one or two ( or 50) peeled off by some cute, adorable little hands.

I love tassel banners and for mine I just used tissue paper found at Michaels Craft Store and used a tutorial from Pinterest ( I’m not sure which exact one but they are pretty much all the same). I love this Love you to the Moon and Back print found here. Our adorable little deer was found on clearance at Homesense or Homegoods if you’re from the States.pic4

Isn’t this lace teepee amazing! I happened upon Banana J Creations when looking to purchase teepee from Restoration Hardware but they wouldn’t ship it to me here in Canada. I was in desperate need for one so I just googled teepee’s and thank goodness I found their website. this teepee is even better in person!

I hope you love their room as much as we do! Have a lovely Tuesday!
