Please excuse the horrible picture quality of these photos. With the night coming so quickly around here I find there are hardly enough hours in the day to get my food shots done in natural light…. but this salad was too tasty not to share so here you go.
Out of this World Cobb Salad:
2 bags of chopped romaine lettuce ( or chop your own)
5 hard boiled eggs
chicken breast cooked and diced
1 package of really good bacon cooked
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup peas
1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes
1 avocado diced
green onion to garnish
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup of buttermilk
2-4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
2-3 tbsp of thinly sliced green onions
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 package of herb and garlic Boursin cheese ( yum)
For dressing mix all ingredients together and try to let sit for at least an hour or two to let the flavours develop ( if you don’t thats totally fine too).
Layer your salad in a bowl starting with your lettuce then add other ingredients in groups as pictured to get that classic Cobb salad look.
Right before you are ready to serve toss with dressing and devour!
