Get the Look for Less- Comfort Works Slipcover Review

Get the Look for Less

Wow you guys do I have an amazing transformation for you today! We have recently been working on updating our family room and I came across THIS sofa and fell in love! The only problem was that it was out of my price range and I already had perfectly good sofas I just wanted a change. This is where Comfort-Works comes in. We have worked with Comfort Works before ( you can see our first collaboration with them here) and so I knew they would be the perfect fit to transform my old Karlstad slipcovers into brand new ones again.

Comfort Works started by making slipcovers to replace  Ikea slipcovers but have now added custom sofa covers as well. That means they can pretty much bring to life any old sofa and their products are AMAZING. We ended up going with a Karlstad 3 seater and 2 seater slipcovers in Rouge Emerald with matching piping. I always recommend going with the matching piping because it really makes your sofa look expensive, even though it’s not! We also got custom bolster pillows in the same fabric, and my new true love, their Bailey replacement sofa legs. These legs are stunning and take my normally short Ikea Sofa to a tall thing of beauty.

I am in love with these legs you guys!

The process to replace your slipcovers is so simple. Start by taking apart your sofa and removing your old slipcovers.

They come made the same as your previous slipcovers so they are super easy to install.

Once your sofa is put back together and a thing of beauty it’s time to add the tufted buttons. I originally planned on adding the buttons to the bottom cushions on my sofa, however I found the process to be way to challenging due to the density and thickness of the bottom cushions. I put them on the back cushions and love how they turned out. The process itself is simple, but time consuming. Here is a great video on how to tuft your sofa with Comfort Works.
